About the NAHJ SD/TJ

National Association of Hispanic Journalists San Diego & Tijuana

Who We Are

NAHJ San Diego-Tijuana is one of 30 chapters nationwide working under the National Association of Hispanic Journalists organization. Our chapter is dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanics in the news industry.

This included getting more Latinos in newsrooms and doing a better job of telling stories of Latinos. As a chapter based in San Diego, our group works to strengthen journalist skills among our members, host speakers from within the community, network and push for more Latinos in our local newsrooms.

Meet Our Board 2025

We have been excited to serve as officers for the San Diego/Tijuana chapter of NAHJ 2024-2025. We ask that you please join us in recruiting new members and encourage members who have fallen off the roster to renew their memberships. Please remember that elections are coming up in September 2025. We hope you continue building the chapter. If you have been an active member of our organization perhaps you should think about running for office!
